hi troll,

as far as i understand you can install successfully the latest driver version 2.0.2.0 only after you install first the old driver version 2.0.1.1, correct? if so, i need to check that, because currently i have no idea why.

Q-box driver supports Windows 7 Media Center, but at least i haven't tried the box with MediaPortal, but we haven't receive any complains about MediaPortal either.

did you configure the Media Center in Windows 7 using the wizard?

regards,

very strange, because W7MC works with Qbox on our test installations and we've never experience such problem. please, when the box is connected to your computer and the driver is loaded go to "Control Panel -> (System and Maintenance) -> System -> Device Manager -> Sound, video and game controllers -> Q-BOX DVB-S TV Tuner -> Properties -> Details -> Property -> Hardware Instance Ids" and tell me if there is any difference from the screenshot below:

or better make the same screenshot on your computer and post it here.

thanks,
cody
