TBS6985 Quad Tuner PCIe driver installation error

Hello, I have two TBS6985 Quad Tuner PCIe Cards fitted on my PC
try to install the linux drivers for both cards on my ubuntu server 32 bit:
Description: 14.04.1 LTS
Release: 14.04
Code name: trusty

uname -a

Linux Bary 3.13.0.24-generic #46-Ubuntu SMP Thu Apr 10 19:08:14 UTC 2014
i686 i686 i686 GNU/Linux

I have tried the Linux driver tbs-linux-drivers_v140819 and tbs-linux-drivers_v140707 but
unforuntly both of them didnt work.

I had followed the below procedure to install the drivers:

1- Login on terminal as root (sudo su)
2- Create a folder on root tbs (/root/tbs)
3- Copied the tbs-linux-drivers_v140707 to /root/tbs
4-

cd /root/tbs

5-

unzip tbs-linux-drivers_v140707

6- extract linux-tbs-drivers.tar.bz2 archive:

tar xjvf linux-tbs-drivers.tar.bz2

7- cd linux-tbs-drivers
8- Run the command:

./v4l/tbs-x86_r3.sh

9- build and install the driver

make && make install

10- reboot in order to load the newly installed driver:

shutdown -r now

After restart I run the command:

dmesg | grep cx88

but no output at all

When trying the command

dmesg | grep frontend

below is the output

1- Configure the right drivers for the the above two TBS6985 Quad Tuner on my PC.

Q1. after the drivers are installed there are error messages like:
"disagrees about version of symbol..."
and/or
"Unknown symbol..."
on 'dmesg' output and no DVB devices are created.
A1: do the following:
# sudo rm -rf /lib/modules/<kernel_version>/kernel/drivers/media/
where "<kernel_version>" is replaced by the loaded kernel version
and then reinstall the drivers with doing "make install".
