hi folks i have just done a new pc build with a MSI Rampage V Extreme Motherboard i have two problems

the card is not being seen in the bios
plus somewhere along the line I've lost the card power lead I would like to know if this
Ugreen SATA 15 pin to PCI Express Card 6 pin Female Graphics Video Card Power Cable (15cm, 15pin to 6 pin) on amazon would be ok to use instead
https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_no ... o+6+pin%29
however it does seem to be working ok I am hooked up to a static dish not motorised
any advice would be appreciated

Hi

If you have not connect to a motor ,usually there is no need to use the extra power for 6982 use the power from PCI-E slot is enough.
And if you PC have not detect your 6982 ,please have a try update your BIOS to latest version and set the PCI-E link speed to Gen1
and this tips:
