More questions:
  1. From where you got those frequencies, like 10812 or 12298 - these are not Hot Bird frequencies.
  2. Why do you have to input wrong frequencies?
  3. Did you tried to input correct frequencies for Hot Bird, like Flysat provides?
  4. What you will get, when you will input 12284000 H 27500000? You should see channel list with channels: Warner TV, Cartoon Network HD.
To understand why you have failures when scanning we must understand why are you inputing some shifted frequencies and what is rule to shift them. Without this you're getting some random scanning results.

There's a lot of frequencies with many FTA, like mentioned 12322000 H 27500000 (which should be very easy to receive, because it is DVB-S, so low SNR required to get stable reception)
Flysat lists them all here: https://www.flysat.com/en/satellite/position/13-e

When I search and scan with my Satlook Digital, I see the frequency; 1062MHz. I count there; 9750 or 10600, I arrive at the broadcast frequency. That's how I was told

Well, explain it to me now.
In addition to my PC that I work with every day, I installed a Lenovo Laptop with a TBS USB box 5927.
I had the TBS USB box 5927 Hotbird scan for FTA channels. Lots of channels. Now I look at which frequency such a channel is on, I enter that with the parameters. Let it scan, bingo; channels. press any channel (2 M Monde) on 12475 H 29900 the Udp and Streaming, and Streaming & Save (below). go to MPC-HC, enter everything and press Play. Nope nothing.
?!?!?!
What is going wrong, what am I overlooking.

This is a very bad result.
You have entered 12284000.
Channels scanned are NOT from 12284000, but from 11449000.
Check it here, scroll to 11,449: https://flysat.com/en/package/platforma ... t-bird-13g
See?

And now the question is why you're getting some wrong results.
11449 - 9750 = 1699 MHz.
1699 + 10600 = 12299, so close to 12284.
Possible issue with band switching. Despite inputting frequency from high band you're still on low band.

And this is time to ask - please describe precisely your satellite setup:
  1. How many cables are going from LNB to your house/flat?
  2. LNB is Universal?
  3. Are you 100% sure that LNB LOF values are 9750 and 10600?
  4. How many outputs LNB has got?
  5. Are you connecting all 4 inputs of MOI Pro (6985)?
  6. What are you doing, when you need to connect SatLook or TBS 5927 - are you disconnecting one cable or using a splitter to split one cable to two devices at the same time?

I've got my suspicions about what you're doing wrong, but let's wait for your answer.

This would be correct only if you would get at the end frequencies for transponders that are really existing.
And you are getting some non-existant fake frequencies.
This should be main source of currect frequencies: https://flysat.com/en/satellite/position/13-e
If results after calculation from SatLook are completely different - don't use it that way, because you're then trying to lock non-existant frequencies in MOI Pro and getting failures.
Maybe wrong calculation, because values 9750 and 10600 are true only if installed LNB has got these LOF values. But this might have other source, so answers on questions above might be crucial to understand what you're really doing.

If in the meantime you did not change anything else in the setup (e.g. disconnected some other device from satellite) - the only reason left in this case is that MOI Pro and PC with Media Player are on different local networks or you're blocking something with firewall on OS level/router level. But all this relates to questions about your satellite setup first.
And now you're watching 8K:

1 cable to the house
yep Rt ultra black
yep
1 output.
no ,1 input Moi Pro.

I first used the Satlook because I can also receive images there, but then the calculation becomes related to the frequency.
Too cumbersome.
Situation now; Laptop /5927 / splitter/Moi Pro / lnb.
What I receive via the 5927 can be entered into the Moi Pro and it should work (right?)
I think the setting in VLC is not right.
