Mfg tool not working for Ubuntu 12.04 V2, any alternative

Hi All,

I am trying to burn Ubuntu 12.04 V2 (latest one) into eMMc of TBS2910. On windows with Mfg tool it is giving push error
"Push" error, file="C:\Users\rtpserver\Desktop\Matrix\Matrix_Ubuntu12.04_V2\Profiles\MX6Q Linux Update\OS Firmware\files\rootfs.tar.gz"

I wanted to know if there is any solution to this problem, any parameters to change in mfg tool xml file on windows?

Is there any alternative way other than Window's mfg tool to burn an OS image to emmc? Any way in linux?

The file rootfs.tar.gz is broken and extraction is unsuccessful. That's why Mfg tool fails too. And TBS doesn't care
