Any way of connecting USB receiver to MOI+?

Postby joshi » Sat Mar 12, 2016 11:31 pm

I tried connecting my TBS5990 to MOI+ today.
It shows up in /dev/dvb as
Code: Select All Code
adapter4
and
Code: Select All Code
adapter5
,

Code: Select All Code
[root@moi /]# ls /dev/dvb/ -al
total 12
drwxr-xr-x    1 root     root          2048 Jan 13  2002 .
drwxr-xr-x    1 root     root          2048 Jan 17  2002 ..
drwxr-xr-x    1 root     root          2048 Jun 21  2001 adapter0
drwxr-xr-x    1 root     root          2048 Jun 21  2001 adapter1
drwx------    1 root     root          2048 Sep 23  2001 adapter4
drwx------    1 root     root          2048 Sep 23  2001 adapter5

but in /var/log/message there is only

Code: Select All Code
Jan 17 14:46:30 moi user.info kernel: DVB: registering new adapter (SAA716x dvb adapter)
Jan 17 14:46:30 moi user.warn kernel: DVB: registering adapter 0 frontend 0 (TurboSight TBS 6991SE DVBS/S2 frontend)...
Jan 17 14:46:30 moi user.info kernel: DVB: registering new adapter (SAA716x dvb adapter)
Jan 17 14:46:30 moi user.warn kernel: DVB: registering adapter 1 frontend 0 (TurboSight TBS 6991SE DVBS/S2 frontend)...

And dvblast fails too:
[root@moi /]# dvblast_0 -f 12095000 -s 27500000 -v 13 -a 5 -c /root/dvblast_0.conf
Code: Select All Code
DVBlast 2.2 (release)
warning: restarting
debug: using linux-dvb API version 5
error: opening device /dev/dvb/adapter5/frontend0 failed (No such device or address)

It seems to me, that this problem have the same roots, as one I had before, when I could not use PCIe adapters above
Code: Select All Code
adapter3
, when connecting them through slitter.

Does anyone have any idea, how to work this around?
