TBS 6981 with proliant dl380 g5

Postby bashar1aziz » Mon May 13, 2013 4:31 pm

Hello,

I have purchased TBS 6981 and tried to install it in an Proliant DL 380 server with Windows 2008 Server R2, but unfortunately I had some problems, when I go to the Device Manger I can see the TBS card and it says: code 39 unable to load device driver, the driver is up to date( downloaded from TBS website).

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

Bashar

Win2008 Server R2 not have BDA subsystem, so device not work.
You can install BDA-subsystem from download (Windows Server 2008 R2 BDA patches)

Thank you, the card is now identified, but I have now another problem, TBS-IP can identify the card, signal is good, but when I use the TBS viewer and do channel scan, it found a couple of channels when I click on the one of the channels, I see nothing, black screen, I've already checked options and choose DECODER tab and I see lots of null codec. Moreover I tried to use dvb dream same problem error, lots of null (decoder).

which driver should I use with windows server 2008 r2 64 bit ?

Hi bashar1aziz

Would you mind use some TS analyse soft such as TSReader or Transedit to check that you
have got the TS stream. :)

Kind Regards
