Can I get other remotes to work with the 6981?

Hi.
In fact, I second the question posted by @mossy in http://www.tbsdtv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=2896#p10698 that unfortunately left without answer.
I can use bundled tbs remote via '/dev/input/tbs-ir' mode, with default lircd.conf.devinput file, and it works OK.
But I can't force lircd to work with my tv remote, though I've successfully created config for it using irrecord. Irw command doesn't show any output.
So please someone from development team try to tell me - is it possible to use other remotes via tuner card IR receiver?
Maybe by passing some options to modules or modifying lirc-layer code?

TBS6981's remotes is NEC coded.if Lirc can detect your remote's code,it should be ok.
But if Lirc can not detect your remotes's code,then you can not use it.
