5°W:
By information of EnoSat, on this freqs should be channels for french DVB-T platform http://www.tvnumeric.com; also uses 8PSK multistreaming, like mediaset.

Freq:
11011 Vertical
11182 Vertical
SR is 30000

TV Numeric has there also one transponder on 11137 V (30000 ???), but not in DVB or DVB-S2 signal format. So you can test this one also.

Quick look on 21.6°E:

1) 11394 - H - 17600 → old Horizon Satellite Services freq, signal looks like combination of 32APSK + 1PSK (1st quadrant). FEC+MODE values on meter ignore.

2) 11358 - V - 7000 → this one signal is any kind of unstandard QPSK signal, constellation shows 4 clusters, but only first cluster (1st quadrant) is active, other three clusters are empty. Mode and FEC are stable on QPSK 1/2, but dont think that FEC is 1/2, meter cant recoqnize correctly FEC on this unstandard or APSK signals, like on 16APSK shown before, meter shows 1/2, but 16APSK doesnt know 1/2. So FEC please ignore.

3) 11186 - H - 2000 → also this signal is any unstandard kind of QPSK signal, constellation shows 4 clusters, mode is also stable in meter (unchanging), but FEC is switching, one time is 1/2, one time is 8/9 and this state is repeating again and again.

Can somebody can tell me what that signals really are? What modifications, ..., TBS6925 locks them?

DeEmEx

hello All,

thank you for continue providing information in this forum thread and making it incredible interesting.

let me give you what we managed to find using different status registers of the ST-based NIM on TBS 6925:

* Mediaset:

- all frequencies on 13E (11334H, 11373H, 11432V) use CCM with Multiple Input Stream (MIS) enabled (there are two active streams) and also active Input Stream Synchronization Indicator (ISSYI), roll-off factor value is 0.20

- all frequencies on 5W (11667V, 12585H) use the same setting as on 13E that are mentioned above

* 12717H on 12.5W: really crazy, i need to check if you guys already posted the constellation diagram here, but according to our analysis it's ACM with 4 active Multiple Input Streams (MIS) enabled

* 11495V on 45W: according to our analysis it's ACM with 1 active Single Input Stream (SIS) and roll-off factor value is 0.20

* 11915H on 31E: according to our analysis it's 16APSK CCM with 1 active Single Input Stream (SIS) and roll-off factor value is 0.25

i would really appreciate if some of you posted constellation diagrams of the above frequencies that we already don't have in this thread. thanks!

Are you sure you don't mean VCM? Because ACM in this case (transportation of digital terrestrial multiplex) wouldn't make much sense.

I'm asking also because in the Base Band Header VCM is signaled as ACM:
"CCM/ACM field (1 bit): Constant Coding and Modulation or Adaptive Coding and Modulation (VCM is signalled as ACM)." (copy&paste from ETSI EN 302 307 1.1.2, page 17)

The constellation was in the link posted by Enosat in the last post of the first page: http://ipbox.wz.cz/mediaset.htm

Thanks a lot cody and DeEmEx.
You are doing great job.

Tell, please, are you only locked transponders mentioned above or saw video (or wrote channels in channel list) some Mediaset's channels in one of DVB program?
And what is 5E (11667V, 12585H)? flysat and lyngsat don't know about it ;)

Repeat:
What program support of TBS6925 plans: modules for AltDVB, DVBDream, drivers for WinXP, Win7x64 etc.?

Hello,

Cody probably ment 5°W i think :)

I will do new constellation diagrams tonight from 12.5°W. I have to make some screenshots from 32APSK signals also.

Cody, so from analyze what you did, can you confirm that these mediaset are 8PSK? (but as '8PSK+8PSK' two 8PSK transponders in one [not same as 16APSK]).

What you think about that 3 unknowns DVB-?/? what i posted here from 21.6°E. Tonight will add another APSK unknown what i found on 37.5°W.
