Hi there is it possible to use tcpdump with the 6925?If yes how do you enable it?
i tried the /dev/dvb/adapter0/net0 no chance to use it
How can i monitor the card if it's working?

what relation tcpdump to dvb device ?:)

if you setup dvb/mpe reception - you can dump traffic from dvbnet device.
You must setup frontend with some tools like szap, next setup dvbnet device (pid filter) and up dvbnet interface.

Thank you for the tip, but i presume you do that with windows, what about ubuntu?
Now i'm not in front of my console and i didn't remeber the /dvb/mpe.

HI there so i installed dvbsnoop it seems to work,but i got always this error
Error(11): frontend ioctl: Resource temporarily unavailable i've searched on the net but i have no idea howto work it out
In conjunction with dvbsnoop do i need some scan? if yes how do i switch to dvbsnoop

I'm not sure about that error but if unavailable is maybe because it is accessed by another application. Maybe you installed some soft like tvheadend that are using tuner in background?

Also your local user may need to be able to open the driver, I usually add local user to video group.
Not sure if I help. But maybe you need to describe a bit more what your want to do.

Like, if Updatelee progs is working great what do you want to monitor?

i just want to monitor data network that comes from the SAT
