Drivers for 2.6.38 / Ubuntu 11.04

Hi,

I'm running Mythbuntu 11.04 64bit.

I downloaded and installed the 110531 drivers for the tbs6980 card and followed the instructions in the README_TBS6980 to the letter. While running make I noticed these messages:

It still completed, so I ran make install. After rebooting, I checked dmesg and there are no occurrences of cx23885.

Does anyone know what is going wrong? More importantly does anyone know what I need to do to get it working?

All I can say is that the drivers dated 053111 do compile under Ubuntu 10.10 and 11.04 (both 64 bit), both using kernel 2.6.38, but not for me with 10.10 under 2.6.35.

Follow the instructions exactly. It does work. Sounds like you didn't run the v4l/tbs-x86.sh or v4l/tbs-x86_64.sh script depending on whether or not you're using the 32 or 64 bit version. This has to be done before the sudo make && sudo make install.

Hint, rather than using dmesg I do the following:
