TBS5980ci not works in Synology

TBS5980ci not works in Synology

I cant connect TBS5980ci into Synology.
When i plug USB cable with decoder into NAS and press update DMS show message READING.... and nothing happens.
No external devices connected.
And for final when i need reboot after pluging USB with decoder rebooting DMS crashes and still rebooting...

PS: i tryed 4 pcs of TBS5980 and no one works.

Hi,

If it is a USB v3 port : try a USB v2 if you have it. I lost a weekend on that.....

otherwise: what isyour kernel version ?
= uname -r on command line.
= what is output of lsusb ?

btw, things go already wrong where it says in your dmesg output that it cannot read your usb device MAC address (= necessary if you would want to use internet over satellite) .
That is a very basic function going wrong, looks like a sync error perhaps (usb speed not properly matched or instable...)
