2 inputs dropping lock

We are using a 6984 card in an Ubuntu 12.04 (64bit AMD) server (tbs 120604). We have the molex power connectors inside attached.

We are using all 4 inputs at the same time, but after some time (usually a week), 2 of the inputs (always the top 2) drop their lock and will not lock again until we power off the server, and physically remove the power to the server for 10 seconds and power up again (just doing a reboot does not fix).

We see lots of the following in the system log:-

This is with just szap running all 4 inputs. The other 2 inputs (the lower 2) on the card continue to work perfectly.

The server also has another 6984 card and 2x 6284 (DVB-T2) cards in it which all inputs to those continue to work well.

it seems like there is some slight hardware fault on top 2 tuners on one of your 6984 cards causing such unstable work from time to time, because obviously your other 6984 card works fine in the same software/hardware environment, i.e. confirming with that the root cause is something wrong with the other 6984 card you have. so, please, contact your local re-seller to replace that board or if that's not possible contact us for doing direct RMA with us.
