Solution for Mediaportal Sleep problem

Hi All

Some users have reported that after suspend the mediaportal server config says
no card available, but with other DVB software it is ok, such as media center.

Two ways to solve it:

1st:

This is because MediaPortal TV Server only detects tuners on startup, not while it is running. So if the MediaPortal TV Server service starts before the driver/hardware is initialised by the OS, then the tuners will not be detected.

So you need to increase the delay time.


2nd:
Stop Windows adjusting the power level for PCI Express devices, switch the power saving off.

If you are experiencing such problem, just have a try with either solution.

For some reason i can not get my tbs6922 to work with mediaportal. My setup is a stab-hh roater with qph-031 lnb Linear to port 1 of switch and circular to port 4. mediaportal picks up the card but when I go to scan or setup roater it says I have no signal

I have the same setup working with dvbdream.

using driver 1.0.1.4
mediaportal 1.2.3

what am I doing wrong or am i missing something.
