CrazyScan Fails To Find Transponder With TBS6922

Postby ScanMan » Tue Jan 07, 2014 12:24 am

Hi,

I was scanning some transponder frequencies that were quite close together using a TBS6922 card with CrazyScan and it failed to identify or resolve one of them. My old set top box blind scan got them both?

The frequencies were 11078MHz, V, SR3270 and 11092MHz, V, SR3270 Both signals were DBV-S with modulation of QPSK and FEC of 5/6
CrazyScan identified the 11092MHz frequency but it failed for resolve the 11078MHz frequency. I used frequency stepping increments of 1MHz when scanning with CrazyScan.

I am not sure if it is related but Easy Blind Scan Pro (Lite version) also failed to resolve the 11078MHz frequency yet found the 11092MHz frequency.
Could this be related to the StreamReader as both CrazyScan and Easy Blind scan use the same StreamReader as far as I know?

I do not think it is the TBS6922 card that is the reason for the failure to resolve the 11078MHz frequency as the TBS blind scan software bundled with the card picked it up. Also, ProgDVB using the same card picked up the 11078MHz frequency. This leads me to believe the issue is with CrazyScan?
