TBS 6922SE and Multiple Input Stream channels

TBS 6922SE and Multiple Input Stream channels

Postby Marco68 » Wed Dec 24, 2014 5:37 am

Hi, could anyone confirm that the Second Edition of TBS 6922 is able to demodulate multiple input strem signals?

Mine (the first edition) is not able to. Iwas very surprised when I discovered that TBS 5980 can tune MIS channels even if it's not specified in the page product of Tbs site.

Regards

Marco

TAS2101 can lock MIS transponders with my StreamReaderEx-BDA, but no possible select input stream. PLS selection also not work.

So for normal MIS+PLS support need minimum stv090xbac based device. 5980 is good choice, i use it from 2011.

Hi Crazycat, very pleased to read you!
My friend Daniele would like to ask you a question and I'm very interested too. He has a Tbs 5980 as yours and he'g got a problem when switchig from a Mis channel to a DVB-S2 channel. The DVB-S2 channel is always without signal after this sequence. From TBS support they told him about a driver bug. Do you have the same problem and do you think it can be fixed with a new driver release?
Thanks in advance and above all thanks for everything you did for sat lovers!

I can confirm :) With my modules/dlls (direct hw control) - CrazyScan, EBS Pro, TSReader with StreamReaderEx proxy module, AltDVB, ProgDVB (with my TBS.eBDA2 module).

And linux with unofficial V4L drivers forks like my CrazyCat/linux-tbs-drivers. updatelee/v4l-updatelee

Thanks, so I can use Progdvb and Altdvb with your dll/modules.
Altdvb is my favorite choice. What about Dvbdream and Smartdvb? Can they be used with 5980nfor Mis channels?
Thanks in advance.

No Mis channel tuned with Altdvb...
Could you tell us if a personalized version has to be used or if we have to add some dll in alt dvb folder? Or something else.
We are using alt dvb 2.2.0 build 3912 with your dev_bda2driver.int v0.2.0.21. We have added TeVii.dll and ttBdaDrvApi_Dll.dll in altdvb folder. But no success...
Thanks for your help

Best regards

Need bda2 module with direct hw control, now 0.2.1.1239
http://crazycat69.narod.ru/sattelite/Al ... driver.zip

As alternative you can use my CrazyBDA driver instead vendor. This compatible with bda2 module, StreamReaderEx-BDA
