Driver Bug?

Postby satfeed1 » Wed Nov 25, 2015 10:09 pm

Hi All!

I discovered an annoying bug with 6922SE. I scanned 10E with TBS6922SE and Prof8000 and Easy Blindscan(and Crazyscan). I have got these two freq with both card: 10981MHz V 4167 and 10987MHz V 4167. Same report with both cards. I scanned these two freq with AltDVB and DVBDream.

Here is surprise: I got same service name on both freq with TBS6922SE: only 'Moscow1 service'.
But I got two different service name with Prof8000: 'Moscow1 service' and 'SDUP5'.
I got same picture with 6922SE and different picture with Prof.

I checked again these frequencies and the results were same(AltDVB, DvbDream). I used same LNB, same dish, same cable.
-----------------
I decreased frequency and got another service on 10978MHz with TBS6922SE!!! BUT THIS IS NOT SOLUTION!!!
I have same problem on 7°E 11054MHz H SR:4936 and 11060MHz H SR:4936.

What is common???
Nearby frequencies with same parameters.

I use newest driver version: 1.0.1.5

Is it any solution?

Hi satfeed1

Please have a try lock like this reduce the smaller one and increase the bigger one. such as if you want to lock
7°E 11054MHz H SR:4936 and 11060MHz H SR:4936.

You can lock 11052MHz H SR:4936 and 11062MHz H SR:4936.
or
11051MHz H SR:4936 and 11063MHz H SR:4936.

check whether is ok

Thanks

Kind Regards

steven

Hi Steven!

Crazyscan is working very good and give me official frequency parameters. You can see it on attachment picture.
If i scan these frequencies with dvbdream(altDVB), i get false services.

Here is my test results:

11045 H 4937 - ZZEBU ENC 2
11046 H 4397 - ZZEBU ENC 2 ---> ENV TV official frequency (Freq: 11046 H SR: 8333)
11047 H 4937 - ZZEBU ENC 2
11048 H 4937 - ZZEBU ENC 2
11049 H 4937 - ZZEBU ENC 2
11050 H 4937 - ZZEBU ENC 2

11051 H 4937 - locking, but get scanning error

11052 H 4937 - ZZEBU ENC 1
11053 H 4937 - ZZEBU ENC 1
11054 H 4937 - ZZEBU ENC 1 - ->> ZZEBU ENC2 official frequency
11055 H 4937 - ZZEBU ENC 1
11056 H 4937 - ZZEBU ENC 1
....
....
11060 H 4937 - ZZEBU ENC 1 -->> ZZEBU ENC 1 official frequency
11061 H 4937 - ZZEBU ENC 1
11062 - locking, but get scanning error
11063 - locking, but get scanning error

I have tested many (feed)frequencies and I got this conclusion:

DVB applications failed to scan with TBS6922SE, if neighbouring frequencies broadcast with same SR parameters(and SR is lower than 5000 Ks/s !!!!(6-7 MHz)). Different channels with same parameters, but DVB application give same service on both channel which service has higher RF level.
Thats ALL!
Sorry my bad english.

Kind Regards,
satfeed1

Look like all TBS TMAX-based products drivers use blind-lock mode (some like BLScan() call in my StreamReaderEx-BDA). But you make BlindScan in CrazyScan in BLSan2 mode ?

I used only Blscan mode to get accurate datas. What does blind-lock mode mean?
Is it any solution for me? Steven, Crazycat?

My Prof8000 scanning is working very well, but TBS6922SE is more stable card.

Another similar problem: I had two adjacent signal(BW: 12MHz and 6MHz). First signal was strong, but second signal was weak. What was result? Only strong signal locked. I have compared this card with my Prof8000 and Prof card locked on both signal.
