Hi All :D

the first version of MCE CI TOOL for TBS CI products ( existing products: TBS 5980, TBS 6928) has been released to play a little magic in your Windows Media Center. ;)
Install it and change the set-up in your Windows Media Center, you will enjoy more - http://www.tbsdtv.com/english/Download.html

Hello,

i have question regarding using this tool in Windows 7 MCE. When i process all steps mentioned in guide, set my location etc. i finish with choice between about 100 channels, which is just some subset of all channels available (i know i have to tick channels i want in one of MCE's setup windows). When i scan channels in TBSViewer, about 400 channels is found. I noticed MCE did not make any scanning for channels during setup so i think information about channels, frequencies etc. is hardcoded somewhere? At this time i have no internet connection available for my home PC. Could this be the problem, because MCE can not download actual information about channels? Or is this list of channels hardcoded in TBS MCE CI Tool somehow?

Ok, this issue is not related with connection to internet and remains active for me, but nevermind. Windows Media Center has soooo many restrictions one has to deal with... :D I recommend using on Windows platform Mediaportal for playback, or Mediaportal TV Server + XBMC.

Hello warumnix,
can you please explain what this means, "show their true faces"? What does this software do?
I'm still trying to get my 6928se to work, so I can't test this ci tool yet.
Thanks
