Good Morning Crazycat,

Thanks for your feedback.

Have upgraded to 1.0.1.7 driver but applications are not running.

I noticed the power supply that came with TBS 5925 is rated @ Outout DC 12V 2A.
Is this the right voltage for tbs5925?

Thanks

Good Morning Steven,

When i switch on TBS 5925 the red light is on while the green light under lock blinks twice than goes off.

I carried out Crayscan on 2 different satellite that i can get in my region and graph results are the same.
satellites, SES 5 Sub sahara beam and Nilesat 201/Eutelsat 7 west A.

I have carried out the test on a number of satellites and the results are the same.

When i disconnect the satellite dish connection, the graph reading is different as shown in the snapshot below.

Image

I carried out blind scan on SES 5 using tbs blind scan and got only 6 frequencies out of 11 frequencies under SES sub Saharan footprint>>>http://www.lyngsat.com/SES-5.html

Image

When i ran TBS Viewer am unable to lock on any of the frequnies which i got from the blindscan results>>

Below specs of PC and findings under device manager>>>

I bought am TBS 5925 in April 26th form BuyDvb and reported the issue of faulty tbs 5925 to support@tbsdtv.com on 16th May but no reply yet regarding RMA.

Am thinking of purchasing TBS 6925 but was wondering if i will have the same issue.

Thanks in Advance and please advice on any other tests that you may want me to carry out on tbs 5925.

To addon>>>

Sometimes when i switch off TBS 5925 while on TBS Viewer, my windows 7 ultimate crashes ( blue screen) and pc restarts.
Was thinking of installing windows xp to see if it is a driver issue.

Please advice.

Good Afternoon Steven,

Thanks for the driver.

Run Tbs 5925 with the driver you provided but still not working.

Tried all drivers of tbs 5925 on windows XP without any success.

I think the device is faulty.

Am still waiting for RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) from Buydvb.

Thanks for your valued support.
