Drivers for TBS 5925(Solved)

Hi everybody, this morning I checked the download section, and found that there is no new about TBS 5925 drivers. This means that I'm the owner of a device that can not be used, at least over Linux.

What's the status of the developement?

I'm totally disappointed with this product. I bought it in March because I saw the Linux compatibility in the website. When I received the product, I realized that there is no driver.

Today (May, 11 2012) there is still no new about the development of the driver.

My advise is to NOT buy this product if you consider a GNU/Linux support

To TBSDTV employees, please give us a ETA for the Linux driver. If not, this product is simple incomplete and must be refunded

Are the linux drivers available? Last news were 3 months ago!

I need the equipment to use it with Linux, and I have it in the box for 4 months since the bougth.

hello. I'm unable to compile the driver on arch linux 32bit. problem is following: arch distro as one of the first, is migrating /lib to the /usr/lib which will be standard path for libs. it's after red hat proposal so other distros will follow. are you able to modify the drivers to reflect these changes ? I received the TBS5925 yesterday but had no luck with the drivers. kernel 3.4.x and libs in /usr/lib....

Hello Steven,
thanks for reply. I was too busy and yesterday I finally had few hours to test the latest linux drivers - TBS5925 Linux Driver v120814. IT WORKS NOW !!
My current config: Arch linux 32bit, kernel 3.4.9, latest szap and v4l from arch repository, latest w_scan from AUR. Compilation went without any problems after applying ./v4l/tbs-x86_r3.sh
