Error appears to be in a sub-system that I do not need. Is it not possible to build just the required TBS drivers insted of everything?

Now support to 5.18 , If you need to support it to 5.19. It takes some time .

I found this issue last month. I am having to hold my Fedora 36 kernel at 5.18, despite Fedora having provided kernel 6.0 on October 26 and Fedora 37 beta now released and about to go production on November 15th. Looking at my /boot folder I have only 3 kernel variations available (5.18, 5.19 and 6.0).

Why the delay in supporting at least kernel 5.19?

Following on from my previous reply, I now have only kernels 5.18.19-200, 6.0.5-200 and 6.0.7-200 for Fedora 36.

When will the current drivers be updated to kernel 6.0.7?

When will this be fixed? I am now still on Kernel 5.18 with newer options of 6.0.9 and 6.0.10 available.

Since the Linux kernel function updates are very frequent and in-depth, it is generally not recommended for ordinary users to use a relatively recent kernel version to install the V4L/DTV driver. It often takes longer time for V4L/DTV drivers to adapt to newer kernels. During this time, you may easily encounter compilation issues that you cannot solve by yourself.

For this reason, I would personally choose to run the TBS DTV driver on "Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9" (Kernel version 5.14.0). This operating system focuses on stability, so it will use earlier but more proven technologies. The system adaptation, including the compilation of the TBS DTV driver, is relatively mature and complete. Updates are generally not required so you will have a solid DTV operating environment.

wget http://www.tbsdtv.com/download/document ... 26.tar.bz2
tar jxvf media_build-2022-12-26.tar.bz2
cd media_build
./install.sh
......
reboot
