Oh same version I already had! :-/ still great thought!

BUGS! sometimes when a stream finishes, and you load another stream the sound fails to work and the video plays at what seems like an unfixed playrate 10fps to 30fps to 10fps and back to 30fps!
SD Cards give the message MOUNTED! but cant find them!!
BUt still great!

thanks

@steven and @vpeter what about Bluetooth ? in Openelec
i get message - no adapter found :( (openelec settings - section bluetooth)

i remeber i was something test on MatrixTV and BT was visible for system
(some patch needed ? something in kernel config ? im suppose @steven will know ...)

Also on MatrixTV i saw in dmesg IR connected to GPIO - on openelec nothing ...
(dmesg from matrixtv)
lirc_matrix lirc_matrix.0: lirc_dev: driver lirc_matrix registered at minor = 1
lirc_matrix: driver registered!
lirc_matrix: using irq 338
lirc_matrix: auto-detected active low receiver on GPIO pin 82
also some patch needed ?

True. Something is wrong and I will investigate.

From what I know Matrix doesn't have BT adapter - only wifi. Or am I wrong?
Also don't have any BT dongle to test - it's on the way from dx.com.

I think IR should work. Lirc_matrix is loaded at start from /usr/lib/modules-load.d/lirc_matrix.conf.
At least it works on v1 hw which I have with external IR receiver. Which uses same GPIO pin. So I assume it should be working with v2 hw also. I know ovi confirmed that few private releases back.

The question is what remote did you use? Because for now the default config is mce.

Concerning bluetooth, I have attached my bluetooth dongle and it doesn't show up in Openelec config.
But it is supported by the kernel:

Code: Select All Code
OpenELEC:~ # lsusb
Bus 002 Device 005: ID 0bda:8179 Realtek Semiconductor Corp.
Bus 002 Device 004: ID 04f2:0200 Chicony Electronics Co., Ltd
Bus 002 Device 003: ID 0a12:0001 Cambridge Silicon Radio, Ltd Bluetooth Dongle (HCI mode)
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 05e3:0610 Genesys Logic, Inc. 4-port hub
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

Code: Select All Code
OpenELEC:~ # hciconfig
hci0:   Type: BR/EDR  Bus: USB
BD Address: 00:1A:7D:DA:71:14  ACL MTU: 310:10  SCO MTU: 64:8
   DOWN
   RX bytes:932 acl:0 sco:0 events:38 errors:0
   TX bytes:158 acl:0 sco:0 commands:38 errors:0

I have googled a bit - that might be a generic issue.
Using bluetoothctl - no input via ssh possible. I guess could be set up manually but I didn't had time to look further.

Thanks vpeter - very good job.

@vpeter i know this topic is no wishlist :)

but from time when i read spec. detail CPU i.MX6 i read about hardwared transcoder (and even for 2 streams)
i really want to test example stream from VDR (over streamdev) or from tvheadend push over gstreamer-imx
for get on phone or tablet

Maybe you can add package to openelec https://github.com/Freescale/gstreamer-imx ??
That will be great, thanks for your time and job.

Failed how? You just need to download zip file, unpack, set switch on matrix, connect USB cable and click on correct batch file. And wait a minute or two. It's the same process as with matrixTV.
