I'm tried to attach sata hdd to device with no success. When I'm connected it, I'm see that hdd not vibrate.

I'm checked voltage of TBS2910 sata molex connections and was dissapointed.
Contacts of 5 volt is OK.

But instead of 12 volt we have 0.

So device can't work with any sata hdd and manufacturer is deceived us!

Is anybody have same problem?

I'll bet that under the molex connector where it is soldered to the board that there are connections without solder. TBS has taken good care of me in the past. I would expect that they would take care of you also when you bring this to their attention.

Accordingly "Schematic Diagram" CON13->12V go to NULL
sata power.png

from here http://www.tbsdtv.com/download/document/tbs2910/TBS2910-Matrix-ARM-mini-PC-SCH_rev1.0.pdf

So it is not problem of connection, it is problem of schema! So sata power will work only on photo of TBS2910 but not in real life. It is big lie of manufacturer. I will never buy any device from this seller.

Hi All

Really sorry for this problem, The version older than V2.1 the power is 5V supply.

So the SATA power is 5V, only support the 2.5'' HDD supported.

with new version of matrix V2.1 the power change to 12V so the HDD support both 2.5'' and 3.5''.

Thanks

Kind Regards
