TBS transcoding modulators are normally combined with TBS8510 video transcoding and various TBS DVB modulator PCIe cards. They support to compress bit rate, change the video format from H.265/HEVC to H.264/AVC, change audio format from AC3 to AAC before generating DVB TS for RF output.

IP to DVB
normal modulator

TBS IP modulators supports to capture IP streams and converting to various DVB TS for RF output. They are usually combined with basic TBS Streaming server and TBS DVB modulator PCIe cards, like TBS6004 DVB-C modulator PCIe card, TBS6104 DVB-T modulator PCIe card, TBS6214 ISDB-T modulator PCIe card and so on.

Normal DVB/ATSC-T
/QAM-B modulator

TBS normal DVB/ISDB-T/ATSC modulators support to capture DVB TS by using TBS DVB tuner PCIe cards, and then convert to another DVB format TS for RF output by using TBS DVB modulator PCIe card. For example, we install a TBS6909X V2 DVB-S/S2/S2X Octa Tuner PCIe card and 3pcs TBS6104 DVB-T modulator PCIe card in a TBS streaming server to modulate satellite channels to terrestrial channels.
